ABOUT DR. JAMES DC, CSCS

Dr. Jeremy James founded and was director of the Aspen Club Back Institute in Aspen, Colorado, a clinic specializing in care for chronic back pain sufferers who failed to get results through other means. He counts Olympic and professional athletes, Fortune 500 CEOs, and men and women from all walks of life as his success stories. Today, his unique 5-Step BackForever protocol has helped hundreds end their back and neck pain—forever.

When he was young. Dr. James was pulled into the world of chronic, debilitating back pain. His passion for high-injury sports such as skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, and mountain biking led to serious back pain. Now, decades after professional study and work as director and therapist at his clinic, Dr. James created BackForever and made it available on-line so that anyone can get world-class instruction, and education—the same superior, personalized care that clients in his Aspen, Colorado clinic received.

Dr. James is the coauthor, with Chris Crowley, of the bestselling The Younger Next Year Back Book. The original Younger Next Year books — written by Chris Crowley and Dr. Henry S. Lodge — have sold over two million copies in 23 languages. The books’ basic premise is that behavioral change (especially exercise) can delay 70% of aging and completely eliminate 50% of major illnesses and accidents, such as heart disease, diabetes, and most cancers. The Younger Next Year Back Book applies these same effective concepts to back pain.

BackForever is available free to veterans. In addition, Dr. James runs a pro bono program for U.S. military veterans suffering with back pain.

Dr. Jeremy James earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and his DC from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. He is also a Certified Strength and Condition Specialist through NSCA. Jeremy currently lives in Colorado, with his wife and young son. He still enjoys snowboarding and mountain biking, free of pain.
